Band 6 MMT Pharmacy Technician

Role Details

Role: Band 5/6 MMT Pharmacy Technician Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Pay: £20 to £26ph Start: ASAP Length: Ongoing

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medicines Management Technician to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team in Bedfordshire, with positions available at both Band 5 and Band 6 level. You will be working across ward-based medicines management functions, supporting the safe and efficient use of medicines for patients. Duties will include medicines reconciliation on admission and discharge, one-stop dispensing, patient counselling on medicines, supporting the safe transfer of medicines across care settings, and working closely with nursing, medical, and pharmacy teams to ensure patients receive the right medicines at the right time.

Requirements

GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience Proven experience in medicines reconciliation and ward-based medicines management Familiarity with one-stop dispensing and patient-own drugs procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
