Band 6 Pharmacy Technician - Aseptics

We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to work on a temporary basis in Essex. Please see details of the role below: Role Details Role: Band 6 Pharmacy Technician Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 8:30am to 5pm Pay: £26ph Start: ASAP Length: Ongoing Additional Info: Dispensing injectable chemotherapy This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team in Essex. You will be working within a specialist cancer services environment, supporting the safe and accurate dispensing of injectable chemotherapy for oncology and haematology patients. Duties will include the dispensing and supply of injectable chemotherapy, supporting the aseptic and cancer services pharmacy team, maintaining accurate records and stock control, and working in line with standard operating procedures and medicines governance requirements to ensure patient safety. Requirements GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience Proven experience dispensing injectable chemotherapy or working within a cancer services or aseptic setting Strong understanding of cytotoxic medicines handling and safe working practices Experience following SOPs within a regulated environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organisational skills Why work with Cpl UK Healthcare?
