Band 7 Aseptic Pharmacy Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to work on a temporary basis in Cumbria. Please see details of the role below:

Role Details

• Role: Band 7 Aseptic Pharmacy Technician
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Pay: £30ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Ongoing

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join a well-established technical services team in Cumbria. At Band 7 level, you will play a lead role in the day-to-day running of the aseptic unit, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient preparation of aseptic products. Duties will include overseeing and supporting aseptic preparation activities within a licensed clean room environment, ensuring compliance with GMP principles and Pharmaceutical Quality Systems, contributing to quality assurance, audit, and validation processes, and providing guidance and support to junior aseptic technicians within the team.

Requirements

• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience within an aseptic or technical services setting
• Proven experience working within a licensed aseptic unit and clean room environment
• Strong understanding of GMP principles and Pharmaceutical Quality Systems
• Experience contributing to quality assurance, audit, and validation activities
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support junior pharmacy staff
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
