Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist

We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Leicester. Please see details of the role below: Role Details Role: Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Pay: £30ph Start: December 2026 Length: 3 months This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team in Leicester, providing acute ward cover. You will deliver a high-quality clinical pharmacy service across acute medical wards, supporting the safe and effective use of medicines for acutely unwell patients. Duties will include medicines reconciliation on admission, clinical screening of prescriptions, ward-based pharmacy support, participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, and supporting medicines optimisation initiatives across acute services. Requirements Current GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience Demonstrable experience in clinical pharmacy, including acute ward-based work Strong knowledge of medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and medicines optimisation Ability to work at pace and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-moving environment Experience contributing to MDT working Ability to work autonomously at Band 7 level Excellent communication and organisational skills Why work with Cpl UK Healthcare?
