Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist

We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Birmingham. Please see details of the role below:

Role Details

Role: Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Pay: £30ph Start: ASAP Length: 3 months

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team in Birmingham. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality clinical pharmacy service across a range of wards and departments. Duties will include medicines reconciliation, clinical screening of prescriptions, ward-based pharmacy services, and participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. You will also support medicines optimisation initiatives and contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines across the trust.

Requirements

Current GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience Demonstrable experience in clinical pharmacy, including ward-based work Strong knowledge of medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and medicines optimisation Experience contributing to MDT working Ability to work independently and manage a varied clinical workload Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
