Band 7 Outpatient Pharmacist

We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Outpatients Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in South West London/Sutton. Please see details of the role below: Role Details Role: Band 7 Outpatients Pharmacist Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 30.83 hours per week, 9am to 4:10pm with a 60 minute lunch break (non-negotiable) Pay: £34.71ph Start: 26th October 2026 Length: Until 15th January 2027 Additional Info: No weekend or bank holiday working This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team in South West London/Sutton. The first rotation is within Pharmacy Outpatients, where you will process prescriptions quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. The department works to a 60 minute outpatient turnaround target, so maintaining performance within this timeframe is essential. Duties will include clinical screening and verification of outpatient prescriptions, providing medicines advice to patients and clinicians, resolving prescribing queries, and working closely with the wider pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe and timely supply of medicines. Requirements Current GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience Proven experience processing prescriptions quickly and efficiently, ideally within an outpatient setting Ability to consistently meet a 60 minute outpatient turnaround target Strong clinical screening skills and medicines knowledge Ability to work independently at Band 7 level and manage a high workload Excellent communication and organisational skills Availability to work the set hours, including a fixed 60 minute lunch break Why work with Cpl UK Healthcare?
