Band 8a Cancer Services Pharmacist

We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Cancer Services Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Cambridge. Please see details of the role below:Role Details

• Role: Band 8a Cancer Services Pharmacist
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Pay: £36ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: 6 months
• This role will involve supporting oncology and haematology services including ward based clinical pharmacy duties, medicines optimisation, clinical screening, and supporting safe prescribing across cancer services.
• The post holder will also spend time checking chemotherapy within cytotoxic services. Candidates with strong chemotherapy screening experience will also be considered, even if their experience is primarily screening based. BOPA passport is desirable.Requirements
• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Oncology and haematology pharmacy experience desirable
• Experience screening chemotherapy desirable
• Experience within aseptic or cytotoxic services desirable
• BOPA passport desirable
