Job description Job responsibilities For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: To provide on-site comprehensive pharmaceutical care, contributing to the multidisciplinary team for the Haemato-Oncology unit. To attend all relevant events such as Registrar/Consultant rounds/unit meetings as appropriate. Provide a clinical pharmacy service to the haematology day unit and outpatient area. Support the medical and nursing teams though provision of pharmacy review and medicines management support to ensure the safe and timely delivery of Haemato-Oncology services As a pioneering role within the pharmacy department, this post holder will be expected to be heavily involved in the set-up, optimisation and continued oversight of a pharmacy technician education pathway for verification of SACT. To participate in all department rotas, as required. Pharmacy is in a transitional period and moving over to a 7-day service, therefore any successful candidate would be required to participate in a 7 day service which includes requirement to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays.
