Locum Senior Clinical Pharmacist / Independent Prescriber – Battersea

Location: Battersea, London

Pay: £30–£37 per hour via limited company, depending on experience

Hours: 2–3 days per week

Start: ASAP

Duration: 9 months

Hunter AHP is recruiting a senior clinical pharmacist to provide additional support to a primary care team across five sites in Battersea.

This is an opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to join a supportive team, delivering a mixture of face-to-face clinics and clinical administration. Wednesday and Thursday availability would be ideal, although there is flexibility around working days.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver face-to-face pharmacist clinics and medication reviews.

Support patients with long-term conditions, particularly diabetes and asthma.

Complete medicines reconciliation and action discharge information.

Manage clinical administration and medicines optimisation queries.

Provide senior clinical support and work closely with the wider primary care team.

Requirements:

GPhC-registered pharmacist with strong GP or PCN experience.

Independent prescribing qualification strongly preferred.

Experience managing chronic diseases, ideally diabetes and/or asthma.

Confident working independently and supporting junior colleagues.

Available for 2–3 days per week.

The service offers a supportive working environment with training available.
