Location: Bristol – Multiple Private Mental Health Sites

Rate: £30–£40 per hour (Umbrella), depending on experience

Contract: Locum – 3–6 months minimum

Start Date: Mid-December

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

Working Pattern: 3 days per week

Travel: Paid travel between sites

Hunter AHP is currently recruiting for a Locum Mental Health Pharmacist to support a private mental health services provider across multiple sites in Bristol.

The position is due to commence in mid-December and offers a long-term locum opportunity for a pharmacist looking for consistent part-time work within a specialist clinical setting.

Mental health experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Pharmacists with general hospital experience, particularly those confident in medication reviews, medicines reconciliation and clinical medicines advice, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver clinical pharmacy services across private mental health settings.

Undertake medication reviews and medicines reconciliation.

Provide clinical medicines advice and support to healthcare professionals.

Support safe prescribing and effective medicines management.

Work alongside multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites.

Requirements

GPhC-registered pharmacist.

Mental health or general hospital pharmacy experience.

Confident clinical pharmacy and medication review skills.

Willingness to travel between sites across Bristol.

Availability for 3 weekdays per week from mid-December.
