Job description Job responsibilities We are looking for a motivated and organised Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly GP practice team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician to play a key role in improving patient care, supporting safe prescribing, and enhancing our medicines management processes.About the RoleAs our Pharmacy Technician, you will:

Process repeat prescriptions safely and efficiently

Support medicines reconciliation after hospital discharges

Handle medication queries from patients, pharmacies, and clinicians

Assist pharmacists and GPs with medicines optimisation and medication reviews

Maintain accurate medication records on EMIS/SystmOne

Support audits, QOF medicines indicators, and safety initiatives

Provide patients with clear advice on the safe and effective use of their medicines

About YouWe are looking for someone who is:

Must be a GPhC registeredPharmacy Technician

Accurate, organised, and confident using clinical IT systems

Able to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals

Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Experienced in primary care
