Pharmacy Technician - Medicines & Prescribing Support

Job description Job responsibilities The Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting the safe, effective, and timely management of medicines within a primary care setting. The post holder will focus on medicines coordination, triage, and follow through, ensuring that medicines related work is completed efficiently and safely.This role exists to support the Pharmacy and Prescribing Team by: managing medicines related processes and workflows, acting as a first point of contact for routine medicines queries, completing actions following clinical decisions made by pharmacists.The post holder will not undertake independent clinical decision making or prescribing, but will work closely with clinical pharmacists, prescription coordinators and the wider practice team to reduce risk, improve patient experience, and protect funded clinical capacity.
