Job description Job responsibilities To ensure that appropriate levels of service are provided, in the areas you are responsible for, in accordance with statutory requirements and professional standards. To work in the Cancer Centre as the primary contact person between the Chemotherapy Day Unit, Aseptics and the Main Pharmacy Dispensary. To contribute to the provision of comprehensive Pharmacy service to the Trust, ensuring compliance with current directives, legislation, audits and Health and Safety. To ensure appropriate levels of service are provided in accordance with statutory requirements and the General Pharmaceutical Council. To respect confidentiality of information relating to patients and management and to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act. To act as a role model for the rest of the technical and support staff by promoting a high standard of work. To liaise on pharmaceutical aspects of oncology clinical trials with the lead pharmacist for clinical trials and to ensure the safe and appropriate. To participate in relevant departmental meetings and contribute to effective communication within the department. To participate in the departmental rota and weekend and Bank Holiday services.Please refer to the attached job description for further information
