Job description Job responsibilities If you are looking for a exciting role in which to develop your skills and knowledge then this post will provide an excellent opportunity for you, while providing you with all the support and training that you need. The successful candidate will have the patient at the centre of all they do, possess strong communication skills and be able to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team.After a period of embedding as a clinical pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to undertake a diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and the independent prescribing course. Progression from a Band 6 to Band 7 is automatic once the relevant milestones have been satisfied.You will need to be organised, well-motivated and have excellent people skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new situations and show initiative.You must be, or about to be, registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Applications are welcome from all sectors of pharmacy practice, including hospital, community, primary care, industry and academia.These are full time posts, with commitment required to evening, weekend, Bank Holiday and on-call duties as per rota.
