Job description Job responsibilities Essential Desirable Qualifications Qualified to masters degree level (MPharm or equivalent) Member of the GPhC Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy in Clinical Pharmacy, or equivalent. MSc in Clinical Pharmacy Independent Prescriber Member of the RPS Experience Working as a hospital pharmacist Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Undertaking audit & reporting results Mentoring or tutoring of pre-registration pharmacists Clinical experience within the specialist area. Prescribing in outpatient clinics Preparation of protocols or guidelines Presentations or publications at local/regional level Involvement in Service Development Preparation of budgetary reports Accredited Clinical Pharmacy diploma tutor Practice research Personal Skills Good interpersonal skills including assertiveness. Evidence based methodical approach. High standards for attention to detail Problem identification & solving Good time management - Able to prioritise appropriately and effectively. Able to make decisions Capable of working under pressure Good communication skills Takes responsibility for own personal development. Well organised.
